Josh King’s side propelled up to fourth position, when they claimed victory over the New Zealand Breakers on Saturday night, and after a slew of games can slot into third spot at round’s end.
The Phoenix are looking to finish off their regular series head-to-head with Sydney and get the illusive win that has fallen through their fingers the last two outings with a Kings fourth-quarter comeback.
Brian Goorjian’s side are coming into their second game of round 17 after a 11-point win over the Tasmania JackJumpers as they also look to finish inside the top four.
TEAMS
Phoenix
The Phoenix will look to regain Majok Majok who missed Saturday’s game due to illness.
Kings
The Kings will go in unchanged from their Sunday game.

KEEP AN EYE ON
Stopping the Kings fourth quarter run
The last two times the sides have met, the Phoenix have started strongly but the Kings fought their way back to snatch the win from the South East. Josh King’s side will be looking to learn from those two games when going into Wednesday’s side, with the help of the SBC crowd to urge them along to get that win over the Sydney side. Angus Glover will likely get the job on stretch specialist Jaylen Adams who has twice been a thorn in the Phoenix’s side in the final minutes, and was again imperative late in their most recent win over the JackJumpers.
