Josh King – Head Coach, 2024 – present

Josh King most recently was head coach at Darussafaka Lassa in the Turkish Basketball Super League, and prior to that was the head coach as Riesen Ludwigsburg in the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The American was a long-time assistant under seasoned coach John Patrick in the BBL before taking the reigns and guiding Ludwigsburg. King signed a contract as head coach of the Phoenix until the end of NBL26.

Luke Brennan – Assistant Coach, 2023 – present

Luke Brennan comes from the Perth Wildcats after five years at the NBL club. He comes to the Phoenix with national coaching experience at Basketball Australia and was the head coach for NBL1 team Warwick Senators in 2022.

Dan Ryan brings a wealth of international experience to the Phoenix, having coached at collegiate level in the NCAA, before holding senior roles in both the German Bundesliga and Turkish Super Basketball League.

Adam Gibson has a wealth of basketball experience behind him with 460 NBL games under his belt. Since retiring from playing, he has stayed with the South East Melbourne Phoenix as their development coach.
