NBL21 Coverforce Heartland Crew Positions Available

South East Melbourne Phoenix’s official volunteer group the Coverforce Heartland Crew is back in NBL21 and welcome to everyone!
The Heartland Crew are an integral part of the Phoenix game day operation and also engage in fun activities outside of Melbourne Arena and the State Basketball Centre.
The group involved over 100 participants last year and is looking for anyone who wants to get involved at the club in season two.
Participants gain a behind-the-scenes look into a professional sporting club’s operations, networking opportunities, chances to make lifelong friendships and more!
Proud Coverforce Heartland Crew member Olivea Sutton urges others to experience it for themselves.
“If you’re in a similar position to myself where you’re passionate about basketball and have the ability to give back even in a small way, volunteering is a wonderful option,” she said. “You will meet and interact with like-minded people from club staff, players, fellow volunteers and fans.

“Volunteering with a professional club also provides great insight and understanding into how much work is required to deliver the finished product people watch from the stands or on TV. If you have an interest in the sporting industry it also be a fantastic learning experience.
“The Phoenix as a new club have quickly developed into a community. They make you feel like you’re part of the Phoenix family - there was a real focus on embracing and engaging with people.”
Coverforce Insurance Brokers have jumped on board as an official partner of the Phoenix and naming rights sponsor of the Coverforce Heartland Crew.
