The Phoenix take on the Sydney Kings on Thursday, October 23 at John Cain Arena, league’s annual Indigenous Round game, proudly presented by Drewitt’s Bulbs.

For the second year in a row, renowned Victorian Indigenous artist Dixon Patten has designed the jersey, using songlines as inspiration in a stunningly bespoke green uniform.

The Phoenix will also have a pre-game didgeridoo performance from GANGA GIRI, alongside a Welcome to Country by Wurundjeri man, Thane Garbey.

Our Tyrepower half-time game will also feature participants from the local Victorian Wathaurong’s Karroong Kanyool Youth Hub.

"Drewitts Bulbs are proud to partner with Phoenix, having multiple farms and nurseries in Wurundjeri country, we take great pride in curating the land for native flora and fauna along with producing high quality bulbs and plants for gardeners of all ages,” Drewitt’s Bulbs owner Tim Drewitt said.

“As a small family business, we are passionate about people, our connection to the land, and of course basketball, we are honoured for the opportunity to support Phoenix's Indigenous round.”

Phoenix CEO Simon Derrick thanked Drewitt’s Bulbs for their involvement in such an important round on the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 calendar.

“Having the support of organisations like Drewitt's Bulbs to help us enable community engagement and impact across our Club is fantastic,” Derrick said.

“The Indigenous Round is such an important game across our Club, and the community, and we're pleased to continue to receive such support as we continue to grow this game.”

Tickets for the Phoenix’s Indigenous Round game against the Sydney Kings are now available via Ticketek.
