Phoenix fans have thrown their support behind the club in record numbers, soaring to the club’s membership target, by hitting the magic 4,000 mark!
The breakthrough came on the eve of their first NBL24 game, with a little help from Phoenix captain Mitch Creek and star import Alan Williams.
Both NBL stars got on the phones and spoke to potential members, with a near-perfect strike rate edging the club closer and closer towards the big target.

Phoenix Chief Executive Tommy Greer thanked the fans for their support and encouraged more people to experience what the club had to offer on game day.
“It’s testament to the great show that is put on every time we host a game that more and more people are signing up to be part of the journey,” Greer told Phoenix Media.
“We are unashamedly looking to provide the best entertainment for families, and I think we do a pretty good job of it.
“We are the family club, from our players, to our front office, and we want to take our members on that journey towards a championship together.”
New head coach Mike Kelly was impressed with the supporter base, a key reason why he joined the Phoenix in the off-season.
“Membership numbers don’t lie, and the Phoenix fans are arguably the most loyal, passionate supporters in the NBL,” Kelly said.
“I’ve watched from the outside how the fans become a sixth man on game day for our club, and I’m looking forward to being a part of that.”
Phoenix members will get to enjoy their first home game vs the Wildcats this Sunday at 4pm AEDT.
