South East Melbourne Phoenix (SEMP) proudly announces a Major Partnership agreement for the remainder of the NBL23 season with The a2 Milk Company (a2MC) - one of the world's most innovative dairy nutritional companies.
The a2 Milk Company’s purpose is to pioneer the future of dairy for good and a2 Milk® is the brand leader in Australia's fresh milk category. Naturally A1 protein free, the unique digestive and other potential health benefits experienced by some consumers after drinking a2 Milk® allows more people to enjoy the nutritional benefits of dairy. a2 Platinum® infant milk formula is also a leading brand in grocery and pharmacy channels in Australia and a major international export brand to China.
The partnership is a strong fit as both organisations strive to make a difference on and off the court. Like the Phoenix, a2MC focuses on creating a positive impact in communities and on the planet. In Australia, this is achieved through various initiatives including by supporting Foodbank's School Breakfast Program and helping farming partners to thrive.
"It's exciting to have such a well-known and established brand as The a2 Milk Company join the Phoenix family. As an organisation in our fourth season, we always look for new partners to share the journey with us. The synergy between the two organisations and our community work bodes well for a successful partnership," said Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer.

The a2 Milk Company CEO and Managing Director, David Bortolussi, is proud to have the organisation aligned with the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
"The a2 Milk Company is proud of its partnership with South East Melbourne Phoenix, who are synonymous with innovation and growth in the National Basketball League. We are excited to support the Phoenix and NBL to continue to develop basketball in Australia which is seeing rapid growth in participation in all ages and families across the country," said David Bortolussi.
Phoenix fans in China and other countries will see co-branded consumer promotions between The a2 Milk Company and Phoenix across a2MC products. The partnership will proudly feature The a2 Milk Company logo on top of the back of the Phoenix jersey and prominent visibility on game day and social media, and allow a2MC to work with key Phoenix talent including Zhou Qi (China mens national basketball player).
