As one of the closest finals races in living memory comes to a close this weekend, here’s how you can secure your tickets if we finish 5th and are to host a play-in home final.
While the Phoenix can still finish anywhere from 4th to 7th, a home play-in is one of the highest percentage outcomes.
A home play-in final would be the first chance for our fans to see us play a finals game at the Fire Pit.
Our first finals appearance in NBL21 against United was during the Covid pandemic, and we fought out a three-game series in Sydney in front of an almost empty stadium.
(Phoenix fans could watch Phoenix for a live final, if they finish 5th on the ladder after round 18.)
"A home final at John Cain Arena would be something you would not want to miss," Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said.
"Our fans have been fantastic all season; after three games at the State Basketball Centre, our fans showed why they are the best fans in the NBL. They were loud, passionate, and created one of the great atmospheres in any stadium in Australia."
By Sunday at 6pm AEDT, we should know exactly where we have finished;

How finals ticketing will work for members.
Each member category will have exclusive access to purchase tickets to the game before the general public.
This will allow our incredible supporters to secure the best seats in the house!
Once access to ticketing opens for your member category, you can enter your 14-digit barcode/s into Ticketek, which will act as a password enabling you to purchase your tickets.
If we are to host a Play-In Final, the following times have been assigned to each membership category:
Heartland Members - (12:00pm AEDT, Monday the 6th of February)
Gold & Green Zone Members - (1:30pm AEDT, Monday the 6th of February)
6th Man Members - (2:30pm AEDT, Monday the 6th of February)
General Public Access - (4:00pm AEDT, Monday the 6th of February)
(Phoenix members will get first chance to buy their tickets on Monday from 12pm.)
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO HOME PLAY-IN GAME IS GUARANTEED, AND THIS WILL ONLY OCCUR IF WE FINISH 5TH ON THE NBL23 LADDER AT THE CONCLUSION OF ROUND 18 AND EARN THE RIGHT TO HOST A PLAY-IN GAME.
