The game will celebrate the Heartland and grassroots basketball as Josh King's side make their final regular-season home game appearance, taking on the Tasmania JackJumpers.
The Phoenix suffered a disappointing loss to the Sydney Kings in last round’s top-of-the-ladder clash. The opening half was played at finals intensity before the Kings took control and pulled away for the win.
The final two games of the regular season will be pivotal for the Phoenix as they push to climb the ladder and reclaim a top-two position.
The JackJumpers enter the clash undermanned, with season-ending injuries to key players. But that hasn’t slowed the fighting Tasmanians, who produced a massive 44-point win over the Brisbane Bullets tokeep their finals hopes alive.
The last time the two sides met was import Ian Clark’s Phoenix debut, where the JackJumpers led for most of the contest before a late Phoenix comeback fell just short in a three-point loss.
South East Melbourne will be aiming to level the season head-to-head on Saturday and continue their push for a top-two finish.
