Key Details
PERTH WILDCATS (5-6) 6th vs SOUTH EAST MELBOURNE PHOENIX (5-7) 7th
Where: RAC Arena, Perth
When: Friday, November 15 at 9:30pm AEDT
Watch: ESPN via Kayo
In their last game, the Phoenix's huge percentage win over the Cairns Taipans saw them soar to just outside of the top six.
Import point guard Derrick Walton Jr returned from injury in the last game, coming off the bench and scoring eight points.
Angus Glover continued his starring role in the starting point position, having a career-high 22 points in Sunday's win.
The Wildcats are coming off a disappointing nine-point loss to United, the top team on the ladder, and will be looking to bounce back home in front of their Red Army.
A win for the Phoenix on Friday night could see them sit inside the top six going into the FIBA break the following weekend.
TEAMS
Phoenix
The Phoenix will field a full squad for Friday night's game in Perth. As it is an away game, development players Luke Fennell and Luke Rosendale will not travel with the team.
Wildcats
Bryce Cotton (ribs) and Tai Website (illness) will be game day decisions.
KEEP AN EYE ON
Perth's response
The last time the two sides met, Phoenix kept John Rillie's side to their second-lowest score of 76 points. Josh King’s defence first mantra was on full display with the Wildcats unable to counter. Will there be a change in tactics from the team from the West?
