The Phoenix are on a three-game road trip in six days, and ended their 2024 with a win in Wollongong against the top of the ladder Hawks on New Year’s Eve.
Josh King’s side will be coming into Qudos Bank Arena with a point to prove, after going down to the Kings in early November after leading the majority of the game.
Sitting comfortably a game ahead in the top six now, the Phoenix will look to go 2-0 on their road trip and start 2025 on a high.
Brian Goorjian’s side are coming off a loss to Adelaide 36ers on Monday night by 15 points.
TEAMS
Phoenix
The Phoenix will go into Thursday’s game unchanged from Tuesday night.
Kings
The Kings will regain Bul Kuol (knee soreness) for the game on Thursday but be without Keli Leaupepe (hamstring).
KEEP AN EYE ON
Smokin’ Joe Wieskamp
Fans got to see the rise of import Joe Wieskamp in Tuesday night’s win over the Hawks. The Iowa product provided a spark for the side recording 22 points, six rebounds and two steals, after having an up and down season so far for the import.
Glove definitely knows this court! 👌
