The Phoenix recorded a 17-point win over the Kings in their first game of Indigenous Round and now set their sights on the Bullets in Brisbane on Saturday.

The Phoenix opened round 6 games with a strong win over the Sydney Kings on Thursday night.

Captain Nathan Sobey was huge for his side scoring 33 points while fans got their first look at new import Wes Iwundu who had 10 points.

After trailing by three points at half-time, a spirited message from coach Josh King sparked the Phoenix into action - outscoring the Kings 67–47 in the second half to seal just their fifth win in 21 meetings against Sydney.

The Bullets are also coming off a win in New Zealand. After trailing by as many as 24 points, a crucial defensive play from Tyrell Harrison helped Brisbane hang on for a dramatic one-point victory.
