The Phoenix return home with after a heart-stopping two-point win over the reigning champions in Tasmania on Friday night.

New head coach Josh King got his first win as the Phoenix look to go back-to-back at home at the Fire Pit.

Import forward Matt Hurt continues an MVP worthy season having a game-high 24 points and climbing back to the top of the league in points with 21ppg.

The last time the two sides met was in opening round at HoopsFest where Perth’s Bryce Cotton (8/13) and Keanu Pinder (4/8) were irresistible beyond the arc combining for 36 points from deep.

The Wildcats this time around will be without NBL24 MVP Cotton who is recovering from a rib injury, but the Phoenix will still have the task of Pinder.

John Rillie’s side are coming off eight-point win at home against the top two side of Illawarra Hawks on Friday night.

Owen Foxwell will return to the side for Sunday's game after missing Friday night's game due to illness. Derrick Walton Jr remains out of the side as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Luke Rosendale will replace him.

Bryce Cotton will be out of the side with the rib injury.
