Following the sell-out crowd that witnessed what has been called one of the greatest games in NBL history, the Phoenix double overtime win against the Kings in Gippsland, the Phoenix have sold out all three January home games at the State Basketball Centre.
“After not playing a game there for two years, it has been great to see the community come out in force to support our community games with sell-outs at all three home games (at SBC)” South East Melbourne Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said. “All our players, coaches, staff and fans love when we play at SBC, and we cannot wait to put on a big show for our Phoenix fans.”
(Phoenix will play their final three home games for the NBL23 season in front of a sell out SBC.)
The Phoenix will play their first sold out SBC game next Monday, January 16 against the Brisbane Bullets, and are confident of having their full squad available.
The other two sold out SBC games will see Phoenix take on the Perth Wildcats on Sunday, January 22, and Cairns Taipans on Wednesday January 25 for Phoenix’s final home game for the regular season.
“Our fans are amazing and to have sold out our games at SBC already proves that. We are excited to get to play in front of our fans again,” said co-captain, Ryan Broekhoff.
“It’s going to be loud ! Can’t wait to see the South East show out in numbers; they are the best fans in the league," said co-captain, Kyle Adnam.
If you missed out on tickets, all games will be broadcast on ESPN via Kayo Sports, Foxtel and 10Peach on Sundays.
