The South East Melbourne Phoenix are proud to continue their partnership with HART Sport, a long-standing and important partner of the club.
An official community partner, HART Sport is a major contributor to the Phoenix’s community basketball program, Heartland Hoops, providing hundreds of basketballs for Victorian kids to learn the fundamentals of the game in a fun and inclusive environment.
HART Sport also supply the Phoenix with essential storage and travel bags, as well as gym and mobility equipment.
Phoenix Strength and Conditioning Coach and Team Manager Mitch Fuller uses HART Sport across multiple areas of the club and emphasised the importance of having a reliable partner in the high-performance space.
“We have more games than ever before, and the need for travel equipment that complements our exact requirements is paramount. HART Sport gives us exactly what we need — not only for 16 home games, but 17 away games,” Fuller said.
“On court, our high-performance programs rely heavily on things running smoothly, and something as simple as the HART Sport storage cart, which houses more than 50 basketballs, makes training sessions so much easier to facilitate.
“Additionally, the support they provide to our much-loved community basketball programs is second to none, and we can’t recommend them as a partner highly-enough.”
HART Sport National Sales Manager Andrew Mills also spoke to the relationships HART Sport and the Phoenix have established over many years.
"We’re proud to announce the renewal of our partnership with the Phoenix. It’s an organisation that we have the utmost respect for and love the work they continue to do in and around grassroots basketball. There is a genuine buzz and excitement associated with everything the Phoenix do, so it’s great to be involved again," Mills said.
"Alongside providing equipment for their elite programs, we really enjoy seeing the impact the Heartland Hoops program has on local communities, which aligns with our mission of breaking down barriers of access in order to get everyone moving."
