Heartland Hoops Back for September School Holidays

It is only a month away until South East Melbourne Phoenix's Heartland Hoops return for the September school holidays.
Heartland Hoops is proud to provide an all-inclusive learning environment for all basketball-loving campers, youth, and wheelchair hoopers.
Participants will get the opportunity to meet some of their Phoenix heroes, make new friends and learn new skills from our experienced Heartland Hoops coaches in a fun and welcoming environment.
Heartland Hoops pride themselves on providing more than a holiday babysitting service, which is why the camp-to-coach ratio does not exceed one coach to 12 campers.
Each camper who enters will get their coach's full attention and learn from experienced basketball coaches and players in small groups.

Week one kicks off with Heartland Hoops, popular two days junior camp for 5-12 year-olds who will learn and develop their basketball skills while having fun and making new life-long friends.
Phoenix's Wheelchair Inclusion Day will return for the school holidays, great for all ages and abilities to learn from wheelchair athletes in basketball, delivered in partnership with Basketball Victoria.
There is also a chance for basketballers ages 8-15 to test their skills at our half-day intermediate camp.
First week of camps include:
- 2 Day Junior Camp – September 20th and 27th – Civic Reserve Centre – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- 2 Day Junior Camp – September 21st and 22nd – State Basketball Centre – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- Wheelchair Inclusion Day – September 22nd – State Basketball Centre – 12:30 pm-3:30 pm
- Half-Day Intermediate Camp – September 22nd – State Basketball Centre – 12:30 pm-3:30 pm
(All abilities and ages are welcome to Phoenix's Wheelchair Inclusion Day.)
The second week sees our one and two-day junior camps play out across the Heartland, so wherever you live, there will be a camp near you.
Second week of camps include:
- 1 Day Junior Camp – September 26th – Cardinia Life Stadium – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp – September 26th – Somerville Recreation Centre – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- 2 Day Junior Camp – September 28th and 29th – Sportlink Vermont South – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp – September 30th – State Basketball Centre – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp – September 30th – Somerville Recreation Centre – 9:30 am-3:30 pm
(Meet your Phoenix heroes at camps over the school holidays.)
Each camper will receive a special edition Heartland Hoops merchandise and prizes available at each camp.
