Heartland Hoops Return for April School Holidays

Heartland Hoops are back with South East Melbourne Phoenix’s school holiday basketball camps all set to roll for the April school holidays.
The last few school holidays have been interrupted by Covid, but these camps are set to be jam packed with programs for all children in an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming environment.

The first week of the school holidays will include one- and two-day junior camps, great for ages 5–11. The camp days will include exclusive merch and prizes to be won as kids learn new skills and make long-life friends.
The all-inclusive basketball fun of the first week include:
- 2 Day Junior Camp – April 11th and 12th– State Basketball Centre – 9:30am-3:30pm
- 2 Day Junior Camp – April 13th and 19th– Somerville Recreation Centre – 9:30am-3:30pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp – April 14th – Cardinia Life – 9:30am-3:30pm
The second week of the school holidays will see the continuation of junior camps and Phoenix’s inclusion camp. Phoenix is teaming up with Hawthorn Football Club and Basketball Victoria for the inaugural Wheelchair Sports Inclusion Day. It is aimed to allow the opportunity for all individuals to participate in all-inclusive activities in basketball and football. This day is open to all ages and all abilities.

Phoenix will collaborate with Darebin Phoenix and Crossover Basketball Coaching. This is an opportunity to reach kids across Victoria who may not be able to make it to the South East.
The second week of school holiday basketball fun include:
- 1 Day Junior Camp (Collaboration with Crossover Basketball Coaching) – April 19th – Boroondara Sports Complex – 10:30am-3:00pm
- 2 Day Junior Camp (Collaboration with Darebin Phoenix) – April 20th and 21st – La Trobe Sports Park Stadium– 9:30am-3:30pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp (Collaboration with Crossover Basketball Coaching) – April 21st – Casey Stadium – 12:30am-5:00pm
- 1 Day Junior Camp (Collaboration with Crossover Basketball Coaching) – April 22nd – Oxley College – 10:30am-3:00pm
- Wheelchair Sports Inclusion Day – April 22nd – State Basketball Centre – 12pm-3pm
