Spots for January's Heartland Hoops Basketball Camps are filling up fast.
Officially launched as Heartland Hoops in August 2021, the all-inclusive basketball program for ages 5-17 and wheelchair basketball loving kids will be running these January school holidays.
(Rolling Phoenix is back for wheelchair basketball lovers.)
“I did plenty of these camps when I was a kid. I loved coming in and competing and also getting to meet some of my heroes and people I have looked up to,” said Phoenix captain, Kyle Adnam.
On offer are a One-Day and Two-Day Junior Camp for children aged 5-11 years, Intensive Sessions for ages 12 and up and the Rolling Phoenix program open to all ages.

“It’s an incredible learning tool for life in general and seeing the kids enjoying themselves and having a good time, that’s the best,” said Dane Pineau.
The holiday camps will take place in the South East of Melbourne at Somerville Recreation Centre on January 4th and 12th, State Basketball Centre on January 5th – 7th and Cardinia Life Stadium on January 17th – 18th.
“I have loved the camp it has been amazing, just for the experience and meet all the players,” past participant Cullen said.

The holiday camps are a great way for kids to come with friends and make friends while they learn basketball skills.
“Just about getting kids out there having fun, getting them social and enjoying the game of basketball,” said Ryan Broekhoff.
Make sure to register now for Heartland Hoops as places are limited.
