Fresh off a championship-winning season with the Sydney Kings in his first professional campaign down under; Goodrick is set to bolster the Phoenix’s front-court stocks.
Before signing with the Kings in NBL26 as a Nominated Replacement Player, the 26-year-old played with the University of South Dakota, California Baptist University and in Slovakia with BC Komarno.
South East Melbourne General Manager of Basketball Operations Simon Mitchell said Goodrick provided great coverage at the five spot.
“Hunter is genuinely tough, whether on the boards, getting on the floor, setting screens, or defending with physicality. I think he will add enormous value the team,” Mitchell said.
“He’s got championship pedigree and he’ll play a specific role, providing some quality coverage for Jordan Hunter – we're really keen for his arrival at the Phoenix.”
