South East Melbourne Phoenix point guard Keifer Sykes has been ruled out of the team’s next two games in the NBL Cup.
Sykes sustained an ankle injury against Adelaide last Tuesday and missed Sunday’s win over Illawarra.
He will remain on the sidelines for Wednesday night’s game with Perth and Saturday night’s clash with Sydney.
Kyle Adnam replaced Sykes in the starting line-up on Sunday and did a stellar job, setting a new franchise record in assists with 13.
