Phoenix guard Angus Glover will be sidelined after suffering a shoulder injury during his time with the Australian Boomers in the Gold Coast.
Glover will miss the Boomers’ clash with the University of Colorado, and the ensuing Asia Cup, and will return to Melbourne to begin rehabilitation with South East Melbourne Phoenix medical staff.
Phoenix High Performance Manager Luke Vella said the Phoenix will take their time to ensure Glover is fully fit ahead of the NBL26 season.
“While it’s really unfortunate that Angus has suffered this setback, we will take every step to ensure that he returns to the program fully fit and ready to go for the season,” Vella said.
No return to training date has been set.
