June/July Heartland Hoops Reactions

With over 500 participants this June/July school holidays, our junior basketball program Heartland Hoops was a huge hit with campers and parents alike.
Junior basketballers got to learn skills from experienced coaches across the South East camps, while at the same time having a tonne of fun with their friends throughout the school holiday period.
For older campers, Phoenix point guard Owen Foxwell ran a session for more experienced hoopers to learn more advanced skills, as well as the experience to share the court with the up-and-coming NBL star.

Across the school holidays, each camper received exclusive Heartland Hoops merchandise, and some lucky kids even scored some signed Phoenix jerseys and shoes from their NBL heroes.
Following the camps, kids rushed home to tell their parents all about the fun they had this school holidays at Heartland Hoops, and the feedback couldn’t be more positive.
"The Heartland Hoops program is the highlight of my son's school holidays. He always has an amazing time, and he has made many friends that he looks forward to seeing at the camps each holidays." – Campers' Parent.
"Best basketball day my kids have been to (4 boys, so they've been to a lot)!" – Campers' Parent.
(Lucky campers were chosen at the end of the day to recieve awards for all their hard work from the day.)
"My kids have been coming for years now and still love going; it is so well-run and so engaging. I was able to watch a whole day, and gosh, you all do a great job keeping the kids engaged and helping them learn new skills. You should all pat yourselves on the back for running an affordable and rewarding clinic for kids of all abilities." – Campers' Parent.
"It was fabulous, as usual! All smiles from ours at the end of today." – Campers' Parent.
"We joined as members of the Phoenix last year after attending a few games the previous year. We are loving the team and really enjoy being part of the team kids' camps. Since my son joined, 5 more kids from his club have also been regulars." – Campers' Parent.

"Great day! Thanks, Owen and Sam, and everyone else involved in the running of it." – Campers' Parent.
"A great, affordable camp for the kids over the holidays. My son and his mates had a great day and look forward to next school holidays to sign up again. The coaches were friendly and really engaged with all the kids on the day." – Campers' Parent.
"Thank you to all of the staff/coaches for such an enjoyable day!" – Campers' Parent.
"My son recently attended the Heartland Hoops camp for the third time in a row. He looks forward to these events over the holidays and walks away with a new set of skills each time. The organisers are extremely professional, fun and relate well to our energetic young ballers. We'll keep coming back!" – Campers' Parent.
(Campers went home with big smiles and exclusive Heartland Hoops merchandise.)
