King pinpoints ‘Wish List' at Summer League

Currently in Las Vegas for the annual NBA Summer League, King is scouting potential imports for this season and the future.

"Specifically, we're looking for a point guard and a four man. We definitely need to add those two spots to the roster," King said.

"Those are our main priorities."

With multiple games taking place across Las Vegas and plenty of talent to watch, King has a clear plan as he looks to identify the next Phoenix players.

"You're always taking notes and following guys that you liked last year( at Summer League) that maybe you could get involved with.

"We have some targets, some guys in mind, and some guys we would like to meet with out here."

King isn't the only Phoenix representative in Las Vegas, with Next Star Malique Lewis playing for the Milwaukee Bucks during Summer League as he looks to prove he's worthy of an NBA contract after being selected with pick No. 60 in the NBA Draft in June.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have one local roster spot and three import spots remaining as the club inches closer to the start of the NBL27 pre-season.
