After three years as an assistant (two years full time) with the South East Melbourne Phoenix, Luke Kendall will not be returning for NBL23.

Kendall joined the club at the beginning of our second season as an assistant to head coach Simon Mitchell.

"I have built some great friendships and memories, and am grateful for every opportunity. I have loved every challenge and have learnt so much. I'd like to thank all the players, staff (both on and off the court), ownership and fans for making it so enjoyable to come to work each day. It has been a pleasure coming home and representing a NBL team where I grew up," Kendall said.
