The Phoenix travel to Sydney to take on the reigning champions, the Sydney Kings, with Angus Glover set to play his 200th NBL game.

KEY DETAILS

SYDNEY KINGS (7-3) 1st vs. SOUTH EAST MELBOURNE PHOENIX (4-6) 8th
Where: Afterpay Arena, Sydney
When: Sunday, November 8 at 3pm AEDT
Watch: ESPN

The Phoenix will be looking to return to the winners' list after a disappointing loss to the JackJumpers last round, as they travel to Sydney to take on the reigning champions for the first time this season.

It will be an extra-special road trip for Angus Glover, who will suit up for his 200th NBL game against his former side, where he won two championships.

While Josh King's side has enjoyed a week between games, Brian Goorjian's men have had nine days to prepare following their three-point win over the JackJumpers in Launceston.

The reigning champions currently sit atop the ladder and will be looking to secure another win in front of their home fans as they return to Afterpay Arena following two rounds on the road.

The two sides last met at the Blitz, where the Phoenix claimed a 17-point victory. However, plenty has changed in the two months since, and the Phoenix will be looking to carry that momentum into Sydney and silence the Kings' home crowd.

TEAMS

Phoenix

Daniel Foster will remain sidelined as he continues to manage an ongoing lower back injury alongside Hunter Goodrick who continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury.

Development players Pat Ryan and Ellis Biggar come into the team to replace them both.

Kings

The Kings will be without Jayden Stone who is ill and will be replaced by Lachlan Bofinger. Matthew Dellavedova will be a game-time decision for tomorrow.

KEEP AN EYE ON

The Tall Timbers

The dynamic duo of Yannis Morin and Jordan Hunter will look to provide the Phoenix with some much-needed height when they come up against the Kings' Xavier Cooks and Harry Wessels.

Morin has started in recent games, while Hunter has provided energy coming off the bench. Protecting the rim will be crucial for both sides, with the big men set to play an important role at both ends of the floor.
