Phoenix star Mitch Creek is playing his 250th NBL game on Wednesday night at John Cain Arena against the New Zealand Breakers.
Creek spent eight seasons at the Adelaide 36ers from 2010 before signing with the Phoenix as their marquee player ahead of the club's inaugural season in 2019-20.
The 29-year-old won the Phoenix's inaugural MVP award last year.
He's also represented Brooklyn and Minnesota at NBA level and the Australian national team in multiple tournaments.
Creek has been an integral part of the Phoenix's rise over their first two NBL seasons and is a much loved member of the basketball community in Melbourne's South East.
This season, he leads the team in scoring (19ppg) and rebounding (6.8rpg).
