Angus Glover – Eltham Wildcats (NBL1 South)
17PTS, 7REBS, 5ASTS, 2STLS vs Diamond Valley Eagles
22PTS, 6REBS, 3ASTS vs Geelong United
The Eltham Wildcats went 1-1 over the weekend. In game 1 of round 9, the Wildcats fell to the Diamond Valley Eagles, 80-87. Despite the loss, Glover continued his standout performance throughout the NBL1 season, notching 17 points and seven rebounds.
Only 18 hours later, Eltham returned to the court to take on Geelong United and bounced back in the 92-70 win. The guard scored 22 points and six rebounds after a dominant weekend for his performance.

Luke Fennell – Centre of Excellence – (NBL1 East)
7PTS, 2REBS, 4ASTS vs Penrith Panthers
The Centre of Excellence scored its ninth win in a row on the weekend, a 97-70 victory over the Penrith Panthers. COE sealed the 27-point win with a 28-10 final term, climbing to third on the NBL1 East ladder.
Fennell continued his development during the off-season, recording seven points in the win.
Owen Foxwell – Eltham Wildcats (NBL1 South)
9PTS, 5REBS, 3ASTS vs Diamond Valley Eagles
20PTS, 1REBS, 4ASTS, 5STLS vs Geelong United
Foxwell had a solid performance for the Wildcats across round 9. Recording nine points in the loss to Diamond Valley Eagles before turning it around 18 hours against Geelong. Along with 20 points, Foxwell was dominant defensively, collecting five steals for the game.

Ben Ayre – Wellington Saints (NZNBL)
22PTS, 6REBS, 8ASTS, 1STL, 1BLK vs Tauranga Whai
8PTS, 2REBS, 3ASTS, 2STLS vs. Auckland Tuatara
Kicking off round 10 for the NZ NBL, the Saints had a crucial win over Tauranga Whai. 102-90. Ayre backed up his previous round with another 20+ point performance and eight assists.
Unfortunately, the Saints fell to the first-placed Auckland Tuatara 99-106. Ayre took on NBL24 Phoenix teammate Reuben Te Rangi’s side as Ayre recorded eight points.

Matt Kenyon – North Gold Coast Seahawks (NBL1 North)
20PTS, 8REBS, 3ASTS, 5STLS vs South West Metro Pirates
The Seahawks only took on the SW Metro Pirates a fortnight ago, winning 89-81, but the Pirates got their revenge by taking the round 8 win 69-85.
Kenyon continued his case for back-to-back NBL1 North Defensive Player with 20 points and eight rebounds in the 16-point loss.

Nathan Sobey – Ipswich Force (NBL1 North)
10PTS, 4REBS, 5ASTS, 1STLS vs Logan Thunder
22PTS, 5REBS, 6ASTS, 2STLS, 2BLKS vs Gold Coast Rollers
Unfortunately, Ipswich Force went 0-2 across the weekend, losing to Logan Thunder 73-96 and Gold Coast Rollers 70-76.
Sobey’s effort across the weekend couldn’t help the Force get the wins with 10 points against Logan and a dominant performance at both ends of the court against Gold Coast with 22 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals and blocks.
Luke Rosendale – Ballarat Miners (NBL1 South)
9PTS, 3REBS, 2ASTS, 4STLS vs Bendigo Braves
Luke Rosendale and the Ballarat Miners broke the hearts of Bendigo, taking a one-point win and staying on top of the NBL1 South ladder.
Rosendale had a steady performance across the board, recording nine points and four steals.
Reuben Te Rangi – Auckland Tuatara (NZNBL)
14PTS, 6REBS, 5ASTS vs Wellington Saints
Auckland notched up their 10th win in a row in the NZ NBL against Ben Ayre’s side, Wellington Saints, 106-99. Te Rangi had a solid hit-out, recording 14 points, six rebounds and five assists in the win.

Kody Stattmann – Cairns Marlins (NBL1 North)
23PTS, 9REBS, 3ATSS, 2STLS vs Brisbane Capitals
15PTS, 1REB, 3ASTS vs Southern District Spartans
Stattmann’s side, Cairns Marlins, had a disappointing round 8, losing to Brisbane Capitals 97-110 and Southern District Spartans 65-92.
Stattmann continued his strong performance in NBL1 North with 23 points, nine rebounds against Brisbane, and 15 points against the Spartans.
