The Phoenix team continue to work hard during the off-season around the world and at home, see how they performed below.
Daniel Foster (Keilor Thunder)
19PTS, 10REBS, 4ASTS, 2STLS, 1BLK vs Melbourne Tigers (L)
Phoenix development player Daniel Foster shone on the court on Friday night despite a 27-point loss to the Melbourne Tigers. As other NBL1 teams had the long weekend off, Keilor faced the challenge of taking on the Andrew Gaze-led Tigers.
Foster didn’t back down from the challenge, recording a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, along with a strong two steals, furthering his development ahead of the NBL26 season.

Nathan Sobey (Santeros de Aguada)
14PTS, 8REBS, 7ASTS, 3STLS vs Leones De Ponce (W)
24PTS, 4REBS, 4ASTS, 2STLS, 1BLK vs Indios de Mayaguez (L)
Sobey’s side went 1-1 over the past week. In their first game, they recorded a 21-point win over the top-four side Leones de Ponce, before going down to fellow NBL duo Sam Waardenburg and Milton Doyle’s Indios de Mayagüez on Tuesday morning by six points.
The guard continued his preparation for the NBL26 season, working hard at both ends of the court and tallying a 38-point weekend across the two games.

DJ Mitchell (Ipswich Force)
5PTS, 7REBS, 6ASTS, 2STLS, 1BLK vs South West Metro Pirates (W)
Mitchell worked hard across the court, racking up stats across the board in Ipswich’s five-point win over the South West Metro Pirates. The power forward was massive defensively for his side, recording seven rebounds, two steals and a block in the victory up north.

Gorjok Gak (Casey Cavillers)
6PTS, 3REBS, 1BLK vs Sandringham Sabres (L)
Gak and his Casey side went down in a tight battle against the Sandringham Sabres at home on Friday night by three points. Coming up against ex-Phoenix player Ben Ayre, the centre provided added depth for Casey with six points and three rebounds in the disappointing loss.

Tom Vodanovich (Auckland Tuatara)
11PTS, 6REBS, 2ASTS, 1STL vs Tauranga Whai (W)
Auckland recorded back-to-back wins for the first time in a month as they took the points over Whai by 19 points on the weekend. Vodanovich was instrumental in the win, recording 11 points and six rebounds.
