The leading firm, which has served clients for over 150 years, will join the Phoenix as the second Official Coaches’ Partner and the exclusive provider of legal services.
Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said: “For a young organisation like ours to partner with a firm with such a rich history of success is exciting for our club, especially through the challenging times businesses are facing in 2021.
“Along with our other Official Coaches’ Partner, Pact Solar, our coaching staff will be well supported by Mills Oakley in NBL21 as we enter an exciting season.”
Commenting on this partnership, Mills Oakley CEO John Nerurker said:
“We are proud to be partnering with South East Melbourne Phoenix, a club which embodies our own values - a relentless commitment to success, while upholding the principles of fair play, respect and a fair go for all.”
The partnership extends a pre-existing connection between the two parties, with Mills Oakley partner Stuart Lewin sitting on the Phoenix’s Advisory Board.
