The first match-up saw Mitch Creek soar into the quarter-finals as voted by you, the Phoenix fans.
Next up is the ultimate clutch player John Roberson against foundation player 'Wild' Kyle Adnam, with the winner to face-off against Creek.
JOHN ROBERSON
Games: 28 | PPG: 20.2 | RPG: 2.3 | APG: 5.6 | SPG: 0.8
The ultimate clutch player, Roberson proved to be one of the most lethal scorers in Phoenix history. He and Mitch Creek (12) own the top 15 single-game scores, with Roberson’s 32-point outing against the Cairns Taipans in NBL20 arguably the greatest fourth-quarter performance in the 40-minute era.
A three-point specialist with incredible ball-handling and passing skills, Roberson now plies his trade in Turkey. But his short stint down under was an incredible showing of skill from the Texan out of Texas Tech.
KYLE ADNAM
Games: 119 | PPG: 9.8 | RPG: 1.5 | APG: 3.0 | SPG: 0.6
A foundation player, ‘Wild Kyle’ wowed crowds with his knock-down shooting and eye of an elite pass. Diminutive in size, but not in standing with Phoenix fans, once Adnam found space the opposition were in trouble.
Adnam played four seasons with the Phoenix and is one of just three players to have notched triple-figure appearances with the Phoenix in the club’s history.
