South East Melbourne Phoenix has welcomed Straptor as the club’s Official Strapping and Tape Partner for the NBL27 season, with the Victorian-based brand set to support the club’s High-Performance team throughout the campaign.
As part of the partnership, Straptor’s range of strapping and sports tape products will be used by the Phoenix High-Performance team throughout the NBL27 season, helping support the preparation, protection and ongoing wellbeing of the club’s playing group.
The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared focus on performance, quality and supporting athletes to perform at their best.
Straptor’s products were assessed and recommended by South East Melbourne Phoenix Head Physiotherapist, Simon Wigg, ahead of the partnership, providing confidence that the products meet the high-performance requirements of a professional basketball environment.
With Straptor proudly based in regional Victoria, the Phoenix were also keen to partner with a growing Victorian brand and provide an opportunity to support its continued growth and connection with the basketball community.
South East Melbourne Phoenix Head Physio, Simon Wigg, said, “Straptor provides the quality, reliability and performance we need in our High-Performance environment. Their products are trusted by our team to support player preparation, injury prevention and management throughout the season.”
For Straptor, the partnership represents an opportunity to align with a professional sporting organisation and showcase its products at the highest level of Australian basketball.
Straptor Managing Director, Kim Hando, said, “Partnering with the Phoenix is a big moment for us. Westarted out supplying local clubs around Bendigo and Victoria, and now our tapeis going into the rooms at an NBL club. Having the Phoenix High-Performance team put our products through a professional season says more than any advertising could. Two Victorian organisations, both giving it a crack. That fits well with us.”
The partnershipwill run throughout the NBL27 season, with Straptor becoming an important part of the Phoenix’s High-Performance environment as the club prepares for another campaign in the National Basketball League.
South East Melbourne Phoenix and Straptor look forward to working together throughout NBL27 and supporting the club’s players as they prepare, compete and perform throughout the season.
