Off the back of a thrilling NBL21 season, South East Melbourne Phoenix are offering basketball fans some of the most affordable membership options in all of Australian sport for the upcoming year.
The Phoenix pride themselves on being a community-focused club and want to reflect that in their membership packages, offering a wide range of choices for all hoops lovers to join the Phoenix family.
All membership prices have either stayed the same or been reduced for the NBL22 season. It’s the club’s way of showing appreciation for the incredible support they’ve received over what’s been a challenging period for all in our community.
And there’s never been a better time to join the ride than now.
A heart-stopping Semi-Final appearance in just the team’s second season and re-commitments from the likes of Ryan Broekhoff, Kyle Adnam and Izayah Le’afa set the club up for more success on the horizon.
“Ensuring our organisation is inclusive and available to all is important to us and something we’re focused on continuing to deliver as our club grows,” Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said.
“We believe our membership packages offer some of the best live, family-friendly entertainment in the country and the best value in town.
“Last season saw us take a huge step forward on the court and we’re confident it’s just the beginning of a sustained period of success, and we’d love to share our journey with as many members of our community as possible in NBL22 and beyond.”
Ryan Broekhoff is one of a handful of Phoenix stars to re-sign ahead of the upcoming season and give the NBL title another crack after getting within touching distance last season.

(Broekhoff felt the love of the Heartland community immediately)
NBL22 will be the former NBA sharpshooter’s first full season in Australia and he’s excited to continue growing the basketball community in the Heartland.
“It’s been great reconnecting with the basketball community,” he said.
“Being from around this area, I have a lot of great memories from growing up playing. It’s nice to get back and see familiar faces at stadiums and being able to talk to them and see how things have developed since I’ve been gone.
“I’m trying to give back to the kids around this area and be a role model in any way I can with their development. That’s something I’m really looking forward to getting more involved in.”
Broekhoff says the team will draw motivation from their Semi-Final defeat and return “hungrier” knowing how close they were to the Grand Final.
The 30-year-old is hoping to return to the NBL’s biggest stage in NBL22 in front of a loud home crowd.
“The fans hopefully have something really fun to look forward to next season,” he said.
“Our plan is to make finals again and push for the Grand Final, and hopefully we get to do that in front of our fans in Melbourne.
“Getting our supporters to the game would really help us get over the line so hopefully we’re able to repay their faith and support in us by doing that and giving them the opportunity to get to the really exciting games at the end of the season.”
The club has introduced a courtside seating membership for NBL22, previously held for corporate guests but now available as a membership option.
