South East Melbourne Phoenix have recorded their biggest win as a franchise opening Round 10 with an emphatic win over the Hawks.
The refs dominated the first half with 32 fouls sending both teams to the foul line again and again. A good finish to the first half, that ended with a Junior Madut three and the Phoenix went into the half up by eight, 58-50.
The Phoenix ramped up the defence to start the third and went on a 29-9 run and the game was over.
The last quarter allowed the Phoenix faithful to celebrate with the bench as Owen Foxwell, Anzac Rissetto, Junior Madut, and Great Anticevich kept the party rolling on both ends of the floor.
Phoenix now have two days rest before their final home game at the Fire Pit on Sunday which doubles as Member Appreciation game against the Adelaide 36ers.

(Broekhoff was on fire in the round 10 game with 21 points.)
