The South East Melbourne Phoenix next two games have been postponed due to the NBL's covid protocols.
A number of close contacts and positive tests among the performance team has meant the team were not in a position to field the required 8 players to enable the game to go ahead.
Saturday's away game in Cairns and Monday's home game at the State Basketball Centre against the JackJumpers will now be rescheduled.
"The postponement of both games is disappointing, but postponing Monday's game holds an extra level of disappointment for the team and the front office. The game was a sell out, and our entire organisation look forward to this game every year," Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said. "The health and safety of our players and staff is the most important thing as we all work our way trying to find a way to live with Covid."
Purchased tickets will be honoured when this game is rescheduled. More information from Ticketek will be emailed to ticket holders.
