Phoenix Start Pre-Season Training

South East Melbourne Phoenix's preparations for the NBL22 season officially tipped off on Monday with day one of pre-season training.

Coach Simon Mitchell addressed the team to start proceedings, emphasising their focus on hitting the new season in hot form to give themselves the best chance at contending for the title.

American guard Xavier Munford was the new face at training, while Dane Pineau was in full flight after missing last season through injury.

All contracted players except Zhou Qi and Tohi Smith-Milner were in the building for day one.
