South East Melbourne Phoenix basketball is officially back with two pre-season games against the Brisbane Bullets scheduled for later this month.
The Phoenix will head up to the Gold Coast to face the Bullets on the 18th and 20th of December at Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre (GCSLC).
Game 1: Friday Dec 18 7:00pm (8:00pm Melbourne time) at GCSLC
Game 2: Sunday Dec 20 12:00pm (1:00pm Melbourne time) at GCSLC
Both games will be live-streamed on the Phoenix’s Facebook page and played in front of crowds.

It’s a welcome return for basketball fans in the Heartland who haven’t seen their team play since the final game of the NBL20 regular season on February 16.
Former Brisbane guard Cam Gliddon will pull on a Phoenix jersey for the first time in the two clashes and is keen to face his old team.
“I’m looking forward to playing against the Bullets but I’m really looking forward to just playing some games,” Gliddon said.
“It’ll be good to see where we’re at as a team. I don’t think we’re going to have that many pre-season games this year, so every one is important to find some momentum into the season.
“Representing the Phoenix for the first time with the playing jersey on in a proper game is going to be awesome.
“Every time we step foot onto the floor, whether it’s pre-season or regular season, we’re going to have winning in mind all the time. We want to start a winning tradition here and start holding ourselves to that standard.”
Reuben Te Rangi will also face his former teammates for the first time since joining the Phoenix in free agency earlier this year.
“Pre-season has been a little longer than usual but we’re all excited to be able to play a pre-season game against the Bullets,” Te Rangi said.
“It’s going to be a weird feeling playing my former teammates for the first time but I just can’t wait to get back on the court and get into the season with the Phoenix.”
The Phoenix’s NBL21 season begins on Sunday, January 10 against Melbourne United.
