Live NBL basketball is finally back in the Heartland with South East Melbourne Phoenix hosting the red-hot Hawks on Sunday, February 7 at 3.00pm AEDT at the State Basketball Centre.
The game will be the first NBL fixture of any kind in Melbourne since February last year, and the first opportunity for Phoenix fans to see their team play live in NBL21.
Heartland coaching legend Brian Goorjian and his Hawks will face off with a new-look Phoenix squad eager to put on a show following a month-long road trip to start their campaign.
Phoenix members can secure their seats on Thursday, January 28. Please check your inboxes for information on how to secure your tickets to the game.

(The State Basketball Centre will be rocking once again on February 7)
General public sale will open on Friday, January 29 from 1.00pm AEDT.
Phoenix guard Keifer Sykes has been a human highlight reel to start the season and can’t wait to play in front of the Heartland for the first time.
“Man, I’m just super excited to play in front of the home fans,” he said.
“I’m ready to see their energy, I hope they’re excited to see us play and we’re going to need them, we’re going to definitely need them this year. We’re ready to get back to our home base, our home fans and just play on our home turf.”
Sykes is among the league-leaders in points and assists and says Phoenix fans are in for a show at the State Basketball Centre.
“I think people will be excited to watch us. That’s the kind of product we’re trying to put on the floor,” he said.
“Once Ben Moore gets going, he can make those type of plays, Creeky can make those types of plays. We’re going to be able to play some exciting basketball and we’ve got a lot of weapons.
“I’m just excited to put a good product on the floor that’s going to win basketball games, play tough, bring intensity, have fun out there and be fun to watch.”
