The Phoenix will take on the Cairns Taipans and Melbourne United for pre-season games in August at the State Basketball Centre.

It will be the first time fans can catch a glimpse of the Phoenix ahead of the NBL26 season, with returning players Nathan Sobey, Jordan Hunter and Next Star Malique Lewis set to feature, as well as incoming import Vrenz Bleijenbergh and new power forwards DJ Mitchell.

The team will take on the Taipans on Tuesday, August 19 at 6:30pm, before taking on crosstown rivals Melbourne United on Saturday, August 23 at 6:30pm - in what will be a mini-Throwdown ahead of the season proper.

Tickets are on sale NOW for both games.
