Phoenix to Show Members the Love

A club is only as good as its members, and the South East Melbourne Phoenix have the best members and fans in the NBL
Last season the club played in their first finals campaign, but due to Covid 19 the games were played in Sydney with no crowds.

Not only did our members stick with us after missing out on the finals campaign, our membership base doubled. It was a show of confidence in the impact the club is having in the community, and on the court.
To say thank you the Phoenix will be celebrating their members at Thursday night’s game against the Sydney Kings in their member celebration game.
"To have 4470 members for the NBL22season is fantastic will be celebrating them and everything they bring to the club at Thursday night's game against the Sydney Kings," CEO Tommy Greer said.

Over the short history in the NBL, Phoenix members have become the heart and soul of the club with their willing support game in and game out.
"We may only be in year three, but we feel as if we have the best members in the NBL, they are loud, passionate and love the club," Greer said.
This game is to show the appreciation from the club to Phoenix fans and to say thank you for everything they do.

The entire game will be dedicated to the great support of our members and will include;
• Members names will be displayed in the stadium pre game.
• Heartland members will enjoy a pre game function in the Western Lounge, more details will be provided via email.
• The player card this week will be a special edition card featuring Mitch Creek's thunderous dunk during Throwdown XIII. 100 lucky members will receive a signed card.
• Members will also receive a NBL22 team poster
• Selected members will receive a seat upgrade for the game
• At the member's information desk, located inside gate six, random members will be selected to claim a prize kindly supplied by some of our fantastic sponsors and by the club. Come along to claim this week's player card to have the chance to win
The Phoenix are currently sitting 2nd on the NBL ladder, and the success of the club on the court would not be possible without the support of the members.
