Last season, South East Melbourne Phoenix head coach Simon Mitchell, praised the Gippsland Indoor Sports Stadium crowd, crediting them with helping the team seal the win.

"The noise in the stadium was outstanding; they were so loud that we couldn't hear ourselves for a lot of the game," Mitchell said post-game in NBL22.

The trip last season was such a success that the Phoenix are heading back to Gippsland to take on the reigning champions, the Sydney Kings, on December 18.

And with record membership numbers, this game will sell out quickly.

The atmosphere at last season's game was a talking point for players, coaches, staff, fans, and members who made the trek down the highway.

This is an excellent opportunity for Phoenix fans to take the road trip down to Gippsland for the weekend of the game, visit the fantastic places and stay in Gippsland ready for the big game on December 18.

Reserved seating members, set your alarms for 9 am Monday, October 31, as you will be able to redeem your tickets for the game.

On Wednesday, November 2, at 9 am, 6th man members will be able to redeem their tickets for the game.

General public tickets will be on sale Friday, November 4, at 11 am.
