The Phoenix are on track to break their previous membership record with an influx of new and returning members eagerly awaiting NBL25.
South East Melbourne set themselves a target of 4,000 members last campaign, and achieved that on the first day of the regular season. With that goal well and truly surpassed, this year’s campaign centres on the ‘Strive for Five’, to hit that next milestone for the Phoenix.

Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer has been at the club since its inception and has seen the fans of the Heartland grow bigger each year, and fully expects the record to tumble once again.
“We have the most passionate fans in the league and they keep showing up which is really heartening to see,” Greer said.
“With new membership categories, some exclusive access and the incredible off-season acquisitions we’ve made, there’s never been a better time to jump on board.”
The Phoenix have also introduced a new membership category targeted at kids called Birdman’s Ballerz which will see for the first time fans aged 5-12 take part in a guard of honour on John Cain Arena, and be part of an exclusive clinic with the full roster.
More than 50 per cent of the Ballerz memberships have already been taken up within a week of the product launching.
A family-friendly fixture with four games played in the coveted Sunday afternoon timeslot, paired with a blockbuster string of games in the primetime slot of Saturday Night, shapes as the Phoenix’s most epic draw in their six seasons.
The Phoenix will also host the traditional season opener against Melbourne United and a game with the roof open ahead of the Christmas holiday.
