TRADIE and the South East Melbourne Phoenix have once again linked up to form the perfect fit, extending their partnership for a further two years.
Since NBL20, TRADIE has been a valued part of the Phoenix, featuring prominently on the club’s home and away shorts, sponsoring the TRADIE Phoenix Flames – the NBL’s premier cheerleading group – and providing Australia’s favourite underwear to Phoenix players, as well as prizes for fans on game day.
Phoenix CEO Simon Derrick thanked TRADIE for its ongoing support and said the partnership had become an important part of the club’s identity.
“TRADIE has been a constant of the Phoenix, almost since our inception, and they’ve been committed to enriching the experience for our fans along the way,” Derrick said.
“TRADIE is a great example of a partnership that is focused on growing our Club by enhancing our game day experience, creating special moments and adding plenty of fun for our members and supporters.
“Game day is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s the support of partners like TRADIE that allows us to continue investing in and growing that experience for our fans.
“We’re delighted to continue evolving our partnership with the team at TRADIE and look forward to creating plenty more great moments together over the next two years.”
TRADIE Founder and CEO, Ben Goodfellow, said the Phoenix had become a natural fit for the brand, with the partnership providing an opportunity to connect with basketball fans while continuing to support the club’s unique game day experience.
“TRADIE and the Phoenix just work. It’s a partnership that’s got a bit of everything – sport, entertainment, plenty of personality and, of course, some of the best underwear in the country,” Goodfellow said.
“We’ve been part of the Phoenix journey since NBL20 and have loved seeing the club continue to grow both on and off the court. We’re stoked to be sticking around for another two years and continuing to support owner Romie Chaudhari, the players, the Flames, and the fans.”
TRADIE’s extension with the Phoenix will see the partnership continue through to at least the end of NBL28.
