Iconic Aussie brand TRADIE has extended their partnership with the South East Melbourne Phoenix as a major partner for a further two years.
TRADIE is a family-owned Australian company renowned for its quality underwear, deodorants and bodywash.
This past season TRADIE featured on the playing shorts of the team, part of their new deal will see them retain that asset for NBL23 and NBL24.
(TRADIE will again feature on the playing shorts of the Phoenix for another two seasons.)
In addition, they took on the naming rights of the Phoenix Flames, the club's dancers. The dance group provided the pump up pre and during games, connecting with TRADIE’s philosophy.
(The TRADIE Phoenix Flames dance group lit up the floor at Phoenix home games.)
“We are delighted to lock in TRADIE as a major partner for a further two years,” Tommy Greer, Phoenix CEO said. “They have been a great partner to work with and are more than happy to engage in our game day entertainment. We look forward to working with them closely for the next two seasons.”
Along with the Phoenix Flames, at home games fans got to experience the activation with the TRADIE dance skit that even caught the attention of the media.

“Given the success of our first year in partnership with the Phoenix it was an easy decision to extend for another 2 seasons. The Phoenix is an exciting franchise to be a part of and the game day entertainment product they provide to fans is incredible. Basketball in Australia has some real momentum behind it and we want to be part of it. Look out for some fun Tradie activations at games in the coming seasons.” Ben Goodfellow, TRADIE CEO
