Excited to see Qi back in the league.

Has potential to have a far more of impact than he had last season. That was evident from the recent China/Australia games alone.
Let's see how he's utilised this time around. SEM really needed this with their unlucky start to the season. https://t.co/3vQAVSdeCW
Running. It. 𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙆! 🏃♂️@officialzhouqi has re-joined the @SEMelbPhoenix on a one-year deal just days out from #NBL23 ✍https://t.co/Jek8l5fuUb

STORY: https://t.co/E5gi7j6fHR @MickRandallHS
With the return of Big Zhou, coach Simon Mitchell’s eyeing a EuroLeague-style horses for courses approach to his rotations. Emergence of Madut and Anticevich + health of Pineau all of a sudden gives them depth - just need to have them all available at the same time, now… https://t.co/ccd6X45tif

Massive coup for SEM. Their patience with that final spot has paid off handsomely. https://t.co/I0ENaSM4OO

Probably the best news for 🇨🇳 #Basketball for awhile now… Good to see Zhou Qi continue his journey in the #NBL. Can’t wait to see him play the @NZBreakers in #Auckland! https://t.co/KlfDGGNcHo

This is big for the Phoenix - Zhou spent last season figuring out how to play in the league, and he’ll be much better for it.
— Jacob Doole (@JacobDoole) September 26, 2022
The bigger question might be, do SEM know how to best use him now? #NBL23 https://t.co/j2NA0A1dX3
a 𝐁𝐈𝐆 re-signing in every sense of the word.@SEMelbPhoenix have added a familiar face to their #NBL23 roster bringing back @officialzhouqi on a one-year deal. pic.twitter.com/APVRUV1lFN

Zhou Qi has extended contract with South East Melbourne Phoenix for 1 year. In his announcement he expressed gratitude to the NBL team he has played for 1 season. New Level Sports, his agency, said he chose to stay in Australia from a couple of options playing abroad. pic.twitter.com/MIkTOWVS2i

Love this from SEM. With a year of the NBL under his belt and adjusting to the pace of the league he could be primed for a monster year.

If he gets going like he did at the start and end of NBL 22 this will be fun. https://t.co/3vJ0hPuRl2
Zhou will join the Phoenix on October 16 in time for their away game against the New Zealand Breakers on October 20. His first trip back to the Fire Pit will be to take on the Brisbane Bullets on Saturday October 22 at 5.30pm.
