Independent national retailer, Tyrepower has agreed to a two-year extension with South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Tyrepower have partnered with the Phoenix since they joined the NBL competition back in 2019 and will now increase their level of support, becoming a Major Sponsor of the franchise, which represents Australia’s largest basketball participation region.
The national tyre retailer will receive prominent on-court branding at all Phoenix home-games. Beyond its support at the elite level, we will see some major involvement from Tyrepower at a grassroots level, supporting the club’s community programs moving forward.
Tyrepower General Manager, Richard Ellery said: “Our involvement with the Phoenix is about much more than supporting the elite national product. Phoenix’s involvement with the community and grassroots basketball is as good as I have seen and we are really excited to continue our support of a club that really embraces the community."
Phoenix CEO Tommy Greer said: “We are extremely excited to have Tyrepower return for a third season and for them to elevate their status to Major Partner shows their belief in our clubs’ vision and the NBL product moving forward. We look forward to continuing to build on an already great partnership with an amazing national brand.”
Tyrepower has been in operation since 1977, priding themselves on providing great value and excellent customer service to keep Aussies safe on the road.
