The Phoenix are full of celebrations this weekend with PhoenixFest, honouring their members throughout the game in front of a near-sold-out crowd.

Mike Kelly's side was left to nine players last round. A whole-team performance contributed to a gallant 16-point loss, even managing to outscore the ladder leaders in the final quarter.

The side will welcome back captain Mitch Creek and Matt Kenyon, who will add experience.

The Phoenix are currently on their longest winning streak against any opposition, having won the last three against the JackJumpers, including that Christmas miracle win.

The JackJumpers are currently sitting comfortably in third position but will want to win their next two to cement that spot and move towards the double chance.

Teams

Phoenix

Gary Browne (groin) and Mitch Creek (heel) will continue rehab as they both push for a return in the season's final game.

Owen Foxwell will also miss the game due to injuring his ankle in the final quarter.

Matt Kenyon returns to the side for this weekend.

JackJumpers

The JackJumpers will go into Saturday's game unchanged from last round.

Keep an Eye On

Ben Ayre

Ayre has had to step up in the absence of import guard Gary Browne by starting the last few games. He was one of the best players in the Throwdown, shy of a double-double at 13 points and nine assists.

Milton Doyle

An MVP favourite, Doyle continues to cause problems for the opposition with his fast breaks and finding ways to get the JackJumpers. He has only dropped under double digits four times this season, and he averages 16.2 points.
