South East Melbourne Phoenix host their first home Throwdown for the NBL23 season, and the Fire Pit is the place to be Saturday afternoon.
Game time for Throwdown XVIII against cross-town rivals Melbourne United at 5:30 pm is the main event, but plenty is happening pre-game to prepare you for the game.
Door 6 will open early at 4 pm, with a DJ on the Southern concourse to pump up fans before tip-off. Join our TRADIE Phoenix Flames and the best mascot in the league, Birdman, for a pre-game boogie.
(Show your dance moves with a live DJ before the game.)
Show your skills on either the Tyrepower indoor half-court on the Southern concourse or MSF Sport outdoor court.
Three lucky kids will be chosen to participate at 3/4 time for a DoorDash dunk competition, so come prepared with your best throwdowns.
Our friends at the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation will give out badges and team posters for Phoenix fans throughout the afternoon.
(Grab your free badge and poster thanks to VRGF Love the Game.)
Thanks to partner Pact Solar, the Sensory Room is back for Throwdown and the remaining home games at John Cain Arena. Families who need a quiet space to enjoy the game can enjoy it in a calm area and be supported by trained facilitators.
Staff will be located near gate 6 to assist you up to the sensory room.
(Pact Solar Sensory Room is here for the remaining home games at JCA.)
Inner doors will open at 4:30 pm so you can catch a glimpse of Phoenix warming up before tip-off at 5:30 pm.
Get down to the Fire Pit early to make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun before Throwdown XVIII.
Limited tickets still remain, so get in quick to not miss out!
This game will be a sell out, for smooth entry to your event, download your mobile ticket and add to your Apple or G-pay wallet now or as soon as you purchase your ticket.
