Revealed in an exclusive on Phoenix's SEN Membership day with Nathan Sobey and Jordi Hunter will take the reigns of co-captains for the Phoenix's NBL25 campaign.
Owen Foxwell and Matt Kenyon round out the group with the decision made based on team voting and coach’s input.
Sobey and Hunter, in their first season with South East Melbourne, claimed leadership honours while Kenyon and Foxwell feature in the group for the first time in their second and fourth season in the Heartland, respectively.
In addressing the team and the leaders, head coach Mike Kelly congratulated the quartet on their achievement.
“With leadership comes responsibility, I can’t wait to meet with you all, and even myself learn how to be a better leader,” Kelly said.
“These are the guys that you’ve all put forward, that are exemplifying the values of the club.”
