Browne on the Comeback Win in Game 2

Import guard Gary Browne believes it was the team’s lift in intensity that saw them overrun the reigning champion, Sydney Kings.
Despite trailing by 21 points midway through the second term, a Browne-led Phoenix overcame the deficit to run out seven-point victors.
In new head coach Mike Kelly’s first victory over an opposition NBL team, Browne hit six threes in a 26-point display, including a faultless 5-5 from beyond the arc in the game-turning third term.
“I think sometimes you get so caught up in trying to (overturn the deficit) that all you need is intensity and, and let the things just go with the flow,” Browne told Phoenix Media.

The 30-year-old said the crowd played a huge part in the remarkable victory, but stopped short of heaping too much praise on his team that he believes should have that game as standard.
“I expect us to win. I think we have the talent and the skill set to do it.
“It just a matter of time that we can get a little bit of rhythm.”
The Phoenix were without Mitch Creek, Alan Williams, Craig Moller and Matt Kenyon, with Browne hopeful for a return of troops before the season proper starts on September 28.
“I just want everyone to get healthy.
“We all know what we're doing offensively and defensively and but, you know, we just got to feed off the great things that we did tonight and just keep going doing it for the next game.”
