Fennell, who already boasts a Gold Medal from the most recent iteration of the Albert Schweitzer Tournament, will again don the Green and Gold.
The tournament will be held in Amman, Jordan and will be just the second time Australia participates in the competition after taking out the Gold Medal in 2018.
Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations Simon Mitchell lauded Fennell’s selection and paid tribute to his work ethic and rapid rise.
“Luke has well and truly earned selection in the Australia U18 team and it’s testament to the work he puts in on the floor,” Mitchell said.
“We’re so happy to see Luke on the national stage and this is going to be a great development piece in what is hopefully a long and successful career.”
Fennell will take part in the two-week tournament, before returning to Australia ahead of the NBL25 campaign with the Phoenix.
