The South East Melbourne Phoenix have today signed Gorjok Gak for the NBL26 season, with the 211cm centre returning to the Heartland.
Gak was a part of the Phoenix during the NBL24 season, playing 17 games, averaging five points and five rebounds per game.
A veteran of the league, Gak has also played for the Brisbane Bullets and most recently, the Tasmania JackJumpers.
Phoenix General Manager Simon Mitchell says Gak provides depth and support for Jordan Hunter at the five-spot with his size and experience.
“Gorjok knows the league well and gives us an athletic presence in the pick and roll on both sides of the ball” Mitchell said.
“It’s great that Gorjok is headed back to the Heartland and we look forward to seeing him on court.”
Gak joins DJ Mitchell, Jordan Hunter, Nathan Sobey, Angus Glover, Owen Foxwell, Daniel Foster and Akech Aliir as confirmed signings ahead of the Hungry Jack’s NBL26 season.
